I feel like everyone's judging them a little to much. So what if they've never used Amazon? So what if they aren't computer savvy? I'm sure they're not the idiots everyone seems to think they are now.

Sounds like a reasonable solution to me.

I mean, they don't only use the iPad, most likely. The probably just use the iPad for the charts, and as an added GPS. They more than likely also keep paper charts as a backup.

They need the internet to download the charts.

They have like a $250 credit limit, but if their systems don't say that they should, they can get in a lot of trouble over it.
