I read all of that in Matt Barry’s voice.

But does she have a doll with her own ghost in it?

That “pretty extensive history” of Pitt dating underage girls consists of exactly one, Juliette Lewis, who was 17 and emancipated, and the relationship lasted for several years. That comment is really misleading.

Pretty sure Rainn Wilson is dressed like that because he’s playing Dr. Demento, who is usually seen dressed like that. But that doesn’t really make it that much less absurd.

Again, I don’t think the answer is “remove all scenes that make people uncomfortable”.

It seems most recappers I’ve seen are trying to retcon the situation to be a choice between which one will be saved, mother or child, but that’s not what I got from the show at all.

“so that makes it okay”

Agree. Between episodes, it might be logical for viewers to conclude Viserys and Alicent would sleep together, but after they established a 6 month gap had occurred and showed the characters’ body language in the model-building (hobby?) room, it was clear they hadn’t gone that far yet.

I *do* think Hightower wanted Alicent to fuck the king - I just don’t think she had it in her to try and do so (which, in the long run, was the right move even if she didn’t intend it as such).

There’s been no evidence shown they had a sexual relationship.

Yeah, I thought that was a weird read—both that Alicent is a schemer & that she & Viserys are already sexually intimate. If anything, it feels like the show is taking pains NOT to suggest those things.

I got into this episode more than the first one. It was refreshing for this type of show to eschew action and violence and tell a character-based story. Sure, you could say they didn’t do anything new with the story and dialogue, but I was involved because of the actors, especially Paddy Considine, and the breakout

I actually quite enjoyed this episode, a lot more than episode one. aside from the stand off I thought it was a good episode establishing the strengths and shortcomings of our leading lady. I also think it’s been apt in showing how the patriarchy pits the women against each other for what little power is available to

He could play Old Man Frank Castle. I’m serious.  Somebody make that mini series happen @Marvel.

As long as they’re practical, that’s all I really want from a Bond film.

“... ended with what is arguably the most poorly thought-out character assassination in television history: In a rushed heel turn, Daenerys Targaryen, our intelligent, ambitious, and charismatic (if controversial) heroine for eight seasons, looked down on King’s Landing from astride her dragon, went abruptly apeshit,

I’ve never read Guillermo as being gay, really. I’ve always read him as this shy and insecure and mostly asexual who found vampirism as an instant fix to cure him of his insecurities ( which makes the Van Helsing reveal all the more fun). His man-crush on Nandor was more about being in awe of this “great warrior who

Like South Park did?

It was cruel for him to do the speech (as we saw, it turned out, was a practice run for court) in front of Marie. But I think Saul IS kinda cruel, and he was upping the ante by demonstrating to her and to the lawyers, that he could get one juror (at least) to fall for it. The speech was more for the lawyers than for

Winning Time was a surprising delight & John C Reilly might have given my favorite performance of the year
