OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOHHHHHHHHHH...

PFFFFT. Nah.

I liked “Powerless” a lot, GODAMMIT.

Will my health insurance cover a PornHub Premium subscription?

HAW HAW!

“If censorship and repression is wrong in my culture, it is wrong in all cultures, in my opinion.

Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaam I invited to that party?

Precisely.

I’m excessively White and I have real trouble telling other Whites apart until I get to know them.

I think it’s terrific (my GF and I rewatched it recently and thought it held up really well), but not by virtue of any “Britishness”, particularly.

I’m from the US, don’t find Britishness unusually charming, and really dislike “Love Actually”. :/

“an exclusively British production with a (nearly) exclusively British cast”

Yeah, neither of those things is particularly charming in and of themselves.

Folks who (as I do) love this bullshit might also be interested in may time-wasting Facebook page, “Simpsons Quotes Repurposed as Doctor Who Quotes”:

Also, the text says “bull shark” but all that imagery looks like great whites.

I think part of the reason is that because it’s a story already written, and one that will generate a lot of audience interest, the feeling is that at least half the work is done for them.

“an inspiration for crying in bathrooms”

Wait - what?

In these days when too many people insist on Batman being grimdark all the time, it’s nice to be reminded just how damn goofy the character can be.

We all knew it was (effectively) done when that finale aired.

I’m still jonesing for more.

Honestly? Probably. People still think lie detectors are reliable. (I caught one being used one a “Real Housewives...” show recently and I LAUGHED...)
