A good as Kinmear's Captain Amazing is, maybe it would've worked better without him. Like, maybe the city actually lacks a major superhero, someone has to rise to confront Frankenstein, and Our Heroes are the best they can do. Cutting some of that setup to tighten things up might have helped? I dunno.
