Thank goodness it’s only a joke!

The book remains fascinating, an unnerving peek into one person’s strange experiences. The movie is kinda dumb, though.

This story overlooks the most important factor, which is that all anthropomorphic foods are horrible creations.

It doesn’t even read as “outrage” so much as “bemused irritation”.

So Yoshi lays eggs, but identifies as male? First trans video game character?

On the basis of no actual research at all, I can virtually guarantee that at least some of them are.

Nnnnnnnnnnnnope.

“It was completely bureaucratized. They took something that had art in it and put it in the laps of people that only cared about the bottom line.”

In 1996 I was the Grinch. “Enjoy Halloween, because there won’t be any Christmas this year!” People loved it.

PJ O’Rourke can be pretty sharp.

I think it’s just bewildering and a little sad. “We CAN’T. After all, you ARE my stepbrother.”

It did NOT.

I don’t think the UK “Office” theme is awful, but I’ll concede it’s at least dispensable.

I always liked the song. :/

The lackadaisical, whiny falsetto subgenre of pop/rock is one I have no tolerance for anyway. Therefore, I really dislike the end theme of “BoJack Horseman”, and am always pleased when they replace it with something else (like that delightful Tank and the Bangas song this season.)

Curry and Hannah are good as I recall. The rest, not so much.

I’m also that rare person who prefers the first movie, though “Values” is still terrific.

I’m from Rochester, and did go there a year, for my anthropology BA.

Nah - my junior prom date beat him to it by at LEAST a decade.
