I don’t want to say this in a way that will hurt your feelings but complaining about how “difficult” Arma is seems like the video game equivalent of complaining about the difficulty level of putting together IKEA furniture. The controlls can all be re-mapped to whatever you want it to be, there are FANTASTIC guides

That’s a bit unfair. While some of the more complex vehicle and squad controls are indeed...dense, basic infantry stuff isn’t too hard to get a handle on.

I agree with nearly every comment I see on the article so far and would love more clarification. I read it twice but it seems like none of the most obviously common questions were answered. Or does the law not cover the common questions? Clarification that the law doesn’t answer the questions would be nice as well.

Since I cannot read kanji, is it safe to assume that this prohibition on modding primarily revolves around modifying software/hardware for the purpose of resale, or does it extend to applying mods to software for the modder’s personal use (such as popping a new night sky into Skyrim)?

One of those things seems

You’re talking about landing a man on the moon within ten years?

I think you’re projecting the condescension of others in the media onto Anderson here.  He was pretty even-keeled and seemed reasonable.  I also thought she handled it very well.

“His tone is condescending as hell about a series of programs that are trying to head off a melting planet”

I agree. Jesus, we’re talking about Anderson Cooper here, he’s not some Fox News interview and he’s obviously more liberal himself. He’s actually a good journalist with a good news program who should be asking the tough questions. Not sure why people have to keep putting the victim card on AOC.... there’s nothing

I mean, the problem is that she’s still trying to exist in a fact-based world. That immediately puts her at a disadvantage:

AOC:
Interviewer: Won’t this Green New Deal thing cost a lot and won’t you have to raise taxes?
AOC: Sure, but we can pay for it with additional taxes on the rich.

Conservative interview:
Intervi

“Over $700 billion for defense?!? How are you going to pay for that?”

This woman will go far. She has decades in front of her. Decades.

BUT WHAT ABOUT THE DANCING, ANDERSON? WHY NOT ASK THE TOUGH QUESTIONS???

Oh, for Christ’s sake. AOC doesn’t HAVE to do any interviews if she really doesn’t want to. Going on 60 Minutes is a great way for her to get attention for her legislative agenda outside of websites geared to younger voters. I’m sure she was delighted to do it. Asking questions about how big ideas will be funded is a

There’s nothing “bad” about this interview.

COOPER: Do you call yourself a radical?

Do you deny that the Democratic leadership actively worked to deny Bernie the nomination in violation of its own rules? Because you’re making it sound like there was a level playing field.

I anything this makes me like her more. She's adorable.

Nothing says "I'm totally not intimidated by a successful and attractive woman, and I am comfortable with my own genitals" like the whole AOC hatefest.

I came here to mention that very same show, which, incidentally, I was tipped to via Podmass.
