Exactly what I was trying to say up above. Good post. We are playing as special operations commandos. Their job is to get in, get it done and get out. I’m fine with that and this game does it really really well.

Out of the greys with you! Behold! Even if for just this one post, it deserves to be read and not buried.
Yep. This is a game about special operations commandos doing their jobs, that’s it. It’s ok if it’s not people’s cup of tea, but I really do love it and think it’s a perfectly fine game.
For the record, I LOVE GRW, but “AMERICA O’CLOCK” is hilarious. Lol. That made me laugh pretty hard. And yeah i guess it’s true what you’re saying too, but all in all, I do find GRW to be an excellent game so far if you like these kind of affairs. It’s nothing new and America’s bullets will save the day here (or so it…
I agree. And I’m ok with that if this is what matters to the reviewer, even if these things don’t really matter to me. I understand fully everyone wants something different when they want a game to impress them.
Haha that last sentence was funny and very true. And you have an interesting perspective with your background, so thank you for sharing!
I certainly don’t want to pretend that I find the writing in GWR top-shelf or anything. I don’t. Though I do find some of the banter charming, and serviceable at filling in the gaps while roaming the open world.
Yep I totally agree. I had another 3 hour session in GRW and man, I’m having a super time. I’m not going to pretend this game will go down as a classic or anything (I have a feeling things will get repetitive TBH), but for dumb fun it’s really quite good so far and addictive as hell.
I uninstalled The Division just last night actually. I was “late to the party,” so to speak. I’ve owned it since launch, played it for a bit, but had some issues with the game and shelved it, periodically checking in on patch notes and expansion news.
It’s pretty amazing to think that your reporting here very literally has likely saved some people their jobs.
Are they doing this for games even without innate controller support? I’d be curious to know which ones, if any come to mind, so I am avoid purchasing them.
Brilliant video and song. I love it so much my avatar is a screenshot from it.
Cool story. I really like hearing these. The cellphone accessories business is dying in a way, especially in smaller to mid-size markets. Amazon is crushing us.
Oh my goodness, this is so false. I own a cellphone accessories booth and you should see the scratches on screens that I encounter on a daily basis.
Thank you for shopping at and enjoying the service of your local cell accessories guy. I own a cellphone accessories booth in a mall and your post put a big smile on my face. :)
Really incredible work Jason. This has been a fascinating topic and some excellent journalism.
I can’t say I’ve ever researched it, but for some reason I’d always assumed it was fake. Or at the very least, that it rarely worked.
That’s a remarkable record from front to back. There’s not a bad moment on it.
One of the best examples of the PERFECT song.
