Wow. I feel really bad for the developer here and I think his point of view has made me change my opinion on Let’s Plays in general. I’m not saying I’m suddenly against them or anything but seeing YouTube personalities complain about losing money when the developer of the game himself hasn’t even made a cent really

Wow. I just shared an opinion which I openly admitted was a fault of mine right at the very beginning. I didn't judge or criticize anyone other than myself. What has happened to Kotaku for that post to now have 53 stars?

Well I guess my main issue is I haven’t tried these kind of games. I basically get really pumped to play first and third person games mainly because the immersion factor draws me in. But I’m also a sucker for a good story so I definitely need to expand my horizons.

Yeah but Pooter’s Enhanced ASR AI is really good though. Plenty of decent AI mods out there.

Oh! Actually I forgot about Wastelands. I always wanted to try that too. Thanks for the reminder. I’ll add it to my Steam wishlist.

LOL! Now you have me thinking...

I didn't realize comments weren't welcome in the comments section!

I have not! I read reviews and get pretty pumped but don’t pull the trigger, ultimately. XCOM (that counts, right?) especially grabs my attention but I’m always afraid I’ll hate it.

Cool. Good to know. I just picked up The Division (building a new PC and it came with my GFX card). I can’t wait to try it. I’m still a little put off by the bullet sponginess I’ve seen in the videos but hopefully I can get past that and enjoy it for what others are pretty much universally praising it for.

Nothing about the idea of a top-down(ish) game does anything for me. Fallout New Vegas will always hold a special place in my heart and you’d think that would be enough for me to even be remotely interested in other Obsidian projects. But I just can’t bring myself to try these kinds of games.

I don’t disagree with you at all. Even playing GTA, and other open world games, watching guys hop fences with ease I’m like, “Seriously? Why the hell can’t I do this in a freaking millions of dollar mil-sim?”

Ghost Recon Wildlands is my most anticipated game right now. I don’t like buying into pre-release hype and trailer footage but what I’ve seen has really impressed me. It’s like they’re trying to make the game I always wanted.

But they’re commited to the clunkiness! You have to respect that! ;)

I keep reading about The Division’s setting and how it being grounded in something realistic is hamstringing the game. I don’t know. That’s probably true but I feel like it boils down to going “all in” on the concept. ARMA 3, for instance, is the finest game I’ve ever played. 700 hours and I don’t see me slowing down

I don’t own the game so here’s what I don’t get. I’m assuming the levels are able to be saved in some kind of state prior to publishing, correct? I’d assume so since I doubt people have their console on for 100+ hours consecutively while making their stuff.

Yes I definitely would. A post release patch for MLB 15 The Show fucked up some things. The devs said they had no intention on fixing it so I decided to shelf it. If it were a disc I could have seen some return on it but as of now it was $60 totally wasted.

Wow oh wow. I’m am totally thrilled if this comes to be true. Though that said I just spent $1500 on a PC build and the parts are arriving on Tuesday. If I could have upgraded my PS4 to a similarly powerful system for 1/3 the cost I’m not sure if I’ll end up regretting this decision.

Yeah man, I bought the wrist strap for that but I’ve just decided to pay a local PC repair guy to build it for me. He’s a little more expensive then I would have liked ($120 per hour), but the only place I could even build it in my apartment is on carpet and even after watching a few videos, it’s just too confusing. I

No. Just no.

Yeah I ordered the flash drive version of Windows so I *should* be good. I hope.
