Nexus is the best.

The background music in this song is out of this world. It never fails to give me chills.

I just saw your mod list and it looks a lot like mine. I see you have Freeside Open. Damn, that’s been on my radar for forever but I hear it can possibly break the game when continuing a save file so I decided not to risk it.

I’m using Realistic Wasteland Lighting and although it’s beautiful with a capital B, I kind of wish I used Nevada Skies instead because of the actual weather. I held off on Nevada Skies because I “heard” that the weather was a little over the top and that the rad-rain was a bit of a nuisance. What do you think?

Nice shots! Which weather mod is that with the fog? I’m using the light textures pack, Realistic Wasteland Lighting, Interior Lighting Overhaul and Electro-City and my game looks glorious too. Not too shabby for a 5 year old game. It looks almost current gen with these mods and could probably look even better if I

I’m love this Fallout analysis series. More please! :)

If video games aren't something that stick with you for days or weeks on end when they are done really really well, what are you doing in a comments section on a gaming blog written by people that are passionate about games?

If you’re interested enough in games like this one, you should without a doubt buy it. It’s excellent. I bought it at full price and don't regret it for a second. $30 is a steal for what the game has for content.

Good question on the drivers. Online forums said I needed to install these manually with the Alienware Alpha but Dell customer support (during a separate issue) said that the drivers would install automatically. Meaning; I listened to them and didn’t bother looking.

I did it! LOL! It took like 6 hours but the game didn’t crash on launch! Tomorrow I may actually start playing! :)

Here’s a guess: I think I unzipped the textures pack, which is why I was seeing all those folders. I’ll have to check, but I think the proper way to do it was to install the textures pack totally zipped.

Yes. Some of the folders have a 0, 1, and 2 on them.

I am so confused. This is what my NMM looks like. That is a photo of my TV. I literally have no mods that should be in this Mods section because I haven’t downloaded anything other than the script extender, the 4GB FONV, and the textures pack.

Thanks man. A buddy of mine sent me this (I plan on using some of it, not all, and adding a few others not listed here). Here’s what I don’t understand. He said he uses NVAC but as far as I can tell, I don’t see it on the plug in list above. Am I missing something? This is what’s confusing me the most (other than the

I would like to lobby on behalf of you getting out of the grays! My like button still isn’t working but you deserve to be an approved commenter.

I have a quick question about Nexus Mod Manager, if you’re familiar with it.

Ok. First I heard of windows 8.1 being a problem. What should I do?

That makes perfect sense! Thank you.

Hey! Inviting me to hit you up when I hit a roadblock is a dangerous proposition to your Kinja notifications. I think you underestimate how noob-y I really am. :)

Note: There are a TON of crashes for the Steam version if you install it to a Steam library that isn’t the default place where Steam is installed. Either install it to that location, or you can create a symbolic relationship using Command Prompt or make a copy of the Steam.exe file in a particular place. Easiest
