yeah that was the last time they deployed because they got fucked up pretty badly. one of my drill sergeants deployed with them.

i think i heard that some translators from 11th acr got to deploy to afghanistan.

the last time 11th ACR deployed was in 2005, iraq. i never deployed. by the time i was able to reenlist to go somewhere else the war was over. i wasn’t able to leave earlier because they made ft irwin a 3 year unit about 2 months before i could reenlist.

nice, i ended up getting my EIB on my 2nd try. i didn’t care about it as a private. i suck at throwing grenades, so i failed that part.
