I like to use clear packing tape. Stick it on, squish out all the bubbles, and peel it off. Any and all gunk stuck on your laptop will come off with the tape.
Whenever you have a new belt, try to go through the metal detector with it on. If the machine doesn't go off, then you probably won't ever have to take the belt off.
@dethwolf_x: They already have, its called Plastic Explosive, or C4.
Uhh.... When I try to boot up, it just hangs.
Here in WA, their law is basically summed up as "Nothing that goes up or blows up" so that's more like the "safe and sane" stuff.
Well, I've jailbroken since the day I got my ipod touch 1G in 2008. And it really surprises me how much the jailbreak scene has changed since 1.1.1. Originally, you could go to apptapp.com and hit Jailbreak! and it would just work. With 1.1.3 that changed, ad ZiPhone was the beginning of computer-based jailbreaks. As…
You tried pulling the cartridge out and blowing on it. But, did you try the handy brush-the-control-stick-with-a-toothbrush fix? It always worked for me...
@guitarguy0124: One, you arent making any sense. Two, These reviews are mostly *positive*. The couple that aren't positive are actual problems. I'm sure you'd like your "not too damn big" phone, but what if you bought it, and realised you needed a really bad case to not lose signal? Maybe you wanted to watch a video…
Adam- I don't know if anyone else has tried to do this, but just having the gallery for the BIOS settings is a little frustrating. I wanted to get this to work on my Compaq Presario, but their BIOS is way way different. Also, I couldn't find nearly all of the settings your screenshots showed. Is there any way I might…
See: Jailbreak+3G Unrestrictor :P
Maybe Steve could have taken notice from all of the jailbroken iPhones and iPod Touches out there, multitasking and backgrounding since the days of 2.0. I WISH my old ipod touch could run 4.0, but "it can't support the features". Hell yes it can! I've had a background since 1.1.1. Man, what a failure. (Note: In 1.x.x…
This is great when you constantly switch through tabs, but I commonly go on Lifehacker once a day. I open up a new tab for all the articles that seem interesting, and as I read them I click off the tabs one at a time. Commonly, I will have a ton or lifehacker or gizmodo tabs, and only one facebook tab in the corner.

What about windows backup? It seems to work well for me.
Personally, I think if you have an NVIDIA card, their utility works very well to, and the NVIDIA control utitity should be added to this list.
