I’m not convinced this season will be any less fascinating? Going into last season, everyone assumed it’d be the Cavs out of the East and GSW out of the West, and the exact storyline most predicted played out, and it was one of the most dramatic seasons in NBA history. The storyline’s now set again, and it has the

This is great stuff, Barry. I echo most of your sentiments about the negative side of ballhawking. But he comes off more selfless and self-aware than I would have expected. The charity part is a nice thing too.

Google only ruined the argument if you were arguing over facts, like what year someone retired or who played for which team. Which are the stupidest arguments to have. Google in no way solves the “Player A was better than Player B” arguments that we all love, because there is no answer. You can just back up your side

“This weekend ... I was hanging with some cats that were in town in Miami for a bachelor party, and he was like, “Man, Google ruined the sports argument.” He was like, “Yeah man, because now we can just go and we can check the right answer, and that takes away from a whole lot of the fun.”

Stubhub has a partnership with the Nats (and at least a few other teams I’m aware of) where the original ticketholder just gives them the ticket code number and Stubhub creates a new barcode for the buyer’s mobile tickets. You’ve forgotten that Sarah will die in childbirth.

Perfect. $1,300 to read comics. Sounds like a good investment.

IT’S ALSO CALLED CROSSY ROAD.

Why Your Team Sucks 2015: Apple

The story I always heard when I lived in DC: The original racist pig owner of the ‘Skins wouldn’t pay black players, so many black southerners became Cowboys fans (Pre-Falcons, Dolphins, etc.). Their educated kids turned DC into a majority-black city, and their offspring carry the Cowboys fandom.

Fellow N. VA dweller here - my family grew up Redskins fans (god help us all) and my brother just married a Dallas fan (who has never been to TX). I plan on buying their forthcoming first-born Capitals gear.
