Did you guys go to the Daybreaker rave with Drew in NYC?
If all the NFL were fat guys, fat guy touchdowns wouldnt be so fun.
Best deadspinner at FIFA?
Id say 7th. Cuadrado, Zouma, Remy, Falcao, Begovic. Thats probably just a bit worse than Spurs, no?
A low salary cap can do wonders.
You didn’t read Barnwell's article
What's really amazing, is the video quality, for a fucking Paderborn preseason match.
But did she create this version of Finch?
That’s the number the other dude came up with, which I believe to be asinine
Thinking that it is the ONLY reason would be insane. But to think that there isn’t $1,000 of value for property values for home owners, over 30 years, for having a major sports franchise close in the city, is equally insane.
Unless you don’t really care about sports, you are the one behind my friend. You have no NHL/NBA team in Seattle. No sports to go see in the winter.
A different time now. 40 years ago, sports were no where near as profitable as they are now, especially with TV rights. Cant see a team leaving the LA market right now. Look at Metlife stadium, paid with 0 public dollars.
Yeah that’s a fair rebuttal but im saying that compared to what I would imagine your value to be, if you are on Deadspin and really care about sports, the payment per year that the average sports fan would pay would be very low. Maybe you don’t really care about having a home team or ever going to sporting events. I…
I am lucky enough to live in DC, I don’t think DC should be subsiding stadiums, its already a massive market. But for a place like Indianapolis, its a win.
I guess you didn’t read what I wrote just looked at the number and took out a calculator. Whatever man. I don’t think many Indianapolis people are paying for Hotels in their city, nor rental cars.
Right but in a way you did pay for it.
Maybe one that hits closer to home, for you, is CenturyLink, which was built with 65% public funding:
Game theory. Either one city will pay, or another will. Id rather have an NBA/NHL team than not have one.
Sure,
