I requested something like this and a tax thing in the last request line! You got both of em! Thanks LH, guess you really do take requests ;)
@aidan, use desktop rules, and do a rule for rocketdock to be copied to all desktops.
A lot of you people give me organization envy. While some areas of my life are well organized, others are not. My gmail just piles up in the inbox, no filtering, no labels. If I need to find something, I search.
CCleaner FTW. But I'll look at this Cleanup tool for fun anyways. :)
I think it completely depends on your tax situation. My taxes consist of a w-2 and a few other things and not much else.
I've been wondering if anyone organizes their product manuals digitally.
Great Find!! Going to give this a try now.
@thehrizzle - I think there is a tutorial on here on how to use truecrypt to put your firefox/thunderbird and whatever else you want in a secured/encrypted virtual drive.
The irony is, my toothbrush cup (tumbler) is filthy with toothpaste stains. What gives? ;)
What's more fun is. Just leave open a Text Editor, clean away, and see what kind of creative genius you have written while cleaning.
These type of apps are great when you have a lot of computers, or friends need you to help out with theres. Need to know a model of a motherboard. BAM you got it.
I've been using this quite a while as well. There is one bug I've found and replicated on multiple computers. If you let downloads also go to the panel (which I have since disabled) the progress bar will more often than not, stop working, nor can you see the speed and size of the file. Bit annoying.
@Howland, noticed the same thing. I saw this on the main page and was like hey! that's downtown la! and yeah they are missing a few entrances.
For keyboard ninja's like myself, Launchy is a godsend. Who needs a Start Menu anymore? :)
start -> run -> [sol.exe]
I kind of take this approach, but I shift the hours. I am not a morning person at all. So My mornings begin, @ 10. I put forth a schedule for the rest of the day, get things together. Act on things from noon - 4, close things out and leave work at 6.
I'd have to agree with most here, Adium is completely full-featured, has everything GAIM has + more. All that and looks beautiful. It's one of the few OSX only applications that makes me miss my iMac.
Tissues:
I will never NOT use a credit card, I absolutely love my AMEX Blue Cash card. No yearly fees, low APR and I get cash back. For 2006 I made over $900 back.
