XL has better image? Have you seen the two side by side! I have, and let me tell you: while the XL might have bigger screens, it also blows out the graphics to fit that screen, producing overall lower quality of image.
I'm so disappointed that Nintendo of America is jipping us on the option for the smaller model as well as swappable face plates. I was really excited for that way of personalizing the system.
