I wasn’t aware that India was located in the Northern Hemisphere...
Jeep finally made a vehicle so bad, even the nameplate is being recalled!
This is racist.
You are a racist.
“The good thing is talks have not broken down”
I have a ‘16 T6 Inscription XC90 and my start stop is programmed to my key/individual profile. Start/Stop is always off... you need to program it to your button. The parking sensor sensitivity is also something you can program in individual mode...
Because the Stinger’s touch screen sits on top of the dash and is a couple inches back, it creates a place for my palm to rest, which makes using the touch screen simple.
a) To run the defrosters while I clean off the rest of the snow.
Does anyone actually accomplish this “set it to 68 and don’t touch it again for a year” nirvana that we keep hearing about on these threads?
I second the Super Duty headlights, but only the low-trim models. The high-trim LED projectors are not nearly as bad. When they first came out, I was convinced that everyone was driving around with their brights on. Nope, it’s just the headlights are higher than the roof of my car, so the low beams are aimed right…
i can’t speak for volvos, but in my car the front and rear beeps make different sounds, so i know to ignore if i’m going backwards.
Disappointed there’s not more hate for touch screens here. There’s nothing worse than trying to use a touch screen on a bumpy road. Knobs and buttons!
What does bother me is the combination of daytime running lights and back-lit instruments that are on all the time.
Touch screen controls. I need physical feedback on what I’m doing, I don’t want to have to keep glancing at a screen when I should be watching the road.
I can deal with most of the modern safety features, mainly because I drive in such a way as not to trigger them.
Easy. An instrument cluster that is backlit even when headlights are not on. Because of that, I often see people driving down the freeway with no headlights or taillights on because they have no clue they are off.
What modern car feature don’t you like?
Start/Stop technology, and the inability to permanently turn it off. You have to disable it every time you drive your car (at least on Toyotas). It is annoying as fuck and I’m not getting any better gas mileage than my old car of the same model without the “feature”.
putting the volume and ac controls on a stupid ass screen.
The lack of visibility. That seems to be widespread but isn’t really a feature. I have to crane my neck to see around my rear view mirror and all the sensors when going around on-ramps.
