I got to ask a question (and high five Stephen) from the audience this summer and I feel like I touched greatness… literally. He is America (and so can you) … I will miss that show.

"Getting On" - was amazing. I'm gonna miss it. Six episodes a year is way too few. I hope it gets renewed . Of course, I'll really miss Colbert. He was America (and so can you)

I'm just saying that other people disagree. But I respect your opinion. Still love her albums. though. :-)

I'm an old person (48) and I LOVED U2 in the 80's. I haven't even listened to the new album yet and I certainly don't read RS for the music articles or music criticism. I like their political stuff, though.

Yeah.. love her. I gotta listen to her album again. It's been a few weeks. I wish she were touring in my area.

"Does nothing for me" - does not mean that it's overrated.

The Rolling Stone has some kick ass political reporting though. It's the only reason I subscribe.

As long as he doesn't eat any more toes, we'll be okay.

Sorry this was mandatory.

"two dragons"

Love Russell, except for the idea of not voting. I understand his philosophy and reasons but I disagree. Of course, that doesn't make him a nimrod. It makes him someone who disagrees with you on something you find important.

Finished the end of Alpha House.. hilarious if a bit broad… Also watched the first episode of Transparent .. so good. I am also psyched that "Getting On" is starting its second season tonight. Musically, I am not listening to anything too new. I still like Groenland's "The Chase" It's great to sing to!

It may be a bit bleak and drab initially but by the end of the first episode you'll be glad you watched. Human and warm but hilarious and witty at the same time and not so off on the medical stuff. The episode with the odiferous homeless person had me covering my nose as I watched.

This is actually pretty sad.. .

They still have some great political articles.. even without Taibbi.. although he was amazing.

I love Rolling Stone for the political articles. They are actually amazing, IMHO. Their music articles are horrible… They just had U2 on the cover. (I rest my case)

thnx!

I've listened to Bowie for decades and now I know where some of his vocal inspiration comes from. Amazing song.

Sigh… I'll miss Stephen. But on the plus side, we'll still have Stephen :-)
