I can imagine this would be difficult for doctors. It seems like it would be difficult as a doctor to know when to talk to people about weight and how to do it. It seems to me that it must also be frustrating when you do see people making choices that you know are negative, and you can't do anything about it but give

Girl, that is awesome! And yes, I mean giving them away! Unless shipping is super expensive, which hopefully it won't be. My best friend just brought me a bunch of clothes that she shrunk out of, so I want to pay it forward :) Plus I'm so attached to some of these clothes that I really want them to go to someone who

So I might be too late to this post for anyone to see this, but are any Jezzies interested in some super cute size 14 and 16 dresses and things?

I'm in the same boat more or less (27 here). Comforted by the number of other commenters in the same position. I can offer nothing but commiseration. I feel like that sometimes, but I still hope that I'll find someone. :)

Emily of New Moon is a bit different. I'm not sure darker is quite right - maybe not quite as perky. It's hard to explain.

I love those books SO VERY MUCH.

Also somewhat shoe-related, get some running socks if you don't have them! I had always used regular cotton athletic socks, and I can't believe how much of a difference the wicking material makes. No more blisters!

Fourthing!

Aww, that's awful. I'm sorry you have that. :(

Yikes. That must have sucked - I can see how that book could be triggering. Hope you're doing well now.

I don't know how far into management our furloughs go, though I do know that management is part of the furloughs.

Currently reading Omnivore's Dilemma by Michael Pollan, who also wrote The Botany of Desire. I had read that and liked it, and I'm really enjoying OD. I would highly recommend either book!

This is an incredibly ignorant comment. I work for an agency that is doing furlough days too. Because there's nothing else left to cut. My agency (and probably your friend's agency too) already cut travel, training, and supply budgets to their bare minimum. We are barely hiring new employees, and definitely not hiring

Also a large dose of "redeeming the bad boy." It helps to remember that fandom Draco really only bears a passing resemblance to book Draco.

Holy crap, those two need to play brothers/long lost twins or something.

The picture and title caught my interest, so I watched the clip.

That's what I was wondering. I don't watch the show, but yikes, she seems like a horrible horrible person. The stuff she said to him seemed much nastier than what he said to her.

Yeah, I know that. Unhealthy would have been a better word. My point was that even people who legitimately have bad habits know that those habits are bad and don't need to be concern trolled as if they are too stupid to realize that.

Because your experience is not everyone's experience, that's why.

I am a tax attorney, and that is not true. At all.
