I always thought the big controversy around her was that she blatantly and unapologetically plagiarized in large sections of her fanfiction. I was unaware she reused some of her ff in her published novels. I really hope they weren't the same bits that were plagiarized.

Thanks!

If you don't mind, what salon do you go to? I just moved near Ardmore (I'm in Narberth), and I would love to find a good place!

Lyme disease does suck! Sorry to hear that happened to you. And I can feel your pain on moving to a new place, something I recently did too.

I work for the federal government and pay about 2% of my salary (before taxes). I think it probably depends on your salary range. That does seem rather low though for an average.

Yeah. I think it's intentional too. I only know about it because I overheard a banker telling a woman who needed an ID for some account related thing when I went in to make a deposit. I also saw a little flyer at the local library. That is all, and I wouldn't have even noticed the flyer if I wasn't already thinking

Other PA person here! I'm in the Philly area, and I've noticed that even beyond those problems, which are definitely a concern (I had to drive 20 miles to get a new license when I moved here last month), many people don't have any idea that the state is waiving the ID fee for people who are getting one for voting

Wait RDJ is a Republican? They should have gotten him for the convention. Tons of cachet from the Iron Man/Avengers, and he would have been far more coherent than Clint and Invisible Chair Obama.

This is why I never understood the "for dummies" books series in general. Why would you buy a book that tells you that you are stupid on the cover?

I find this so telling in regards to the Avengers because Renner and Evans were wearing costumes of equal tightness, but it's always Johansson that gets theses questions.

I always felt like all the problems in WH would have been solved by a truly epic threesome. Just saying.

My exact reaction too.

Heck, I have to take it for medical reasons, and my mom still thinks this! But of course this is the same woman to told me today that the economy could not possibly be better than it was in 2008 because her and my father and "the people she knows" are in worse financial shape. Anecdotal evidence apparently trumps

I have total sympathy. I take BC for health reasons too, and my generic of Orthotricyclin was about $25 a month and I considered myself lucky it was that "low." I am very much looking forward to starting my new job next week and finally having good non-student health insurance.

Sigh. I have tried with both her and my dad. I really have. :(

I think it's relevant to remember that a lot of Republicans don't view those types of policies as a war on women. People like my mother, for example, are pleased with the hard line stance the GOP has taken on abortion because she is against it and thinks it is murder. She also is against (or at least apathetic to)

For science!

Wait. Amanda Bynes (whose name I just had to check the spelling of) actually thinks she is important enough for the President to take time out of his busy day of RUNNING THE COUNTRY (and a campaign) to fix her DUI charges? Is she high?

Ha! I was so coming to the comments section to say this. You are correct - Orajel just numbs the pain and doesn't do anything for the underlying issue. Using Orajel can actually make things worse because some people wait longer to treat the problem when they can numb the pain.

Watching this video make all my sads from the SuperPac commercial go away! Thanks. :)
