Hey, I like that song of hers that sampled "Ghost Rider" by Suicide.  Though, after listening to it a while I realized that I simply liked "Ghost Rider" by Suicide.

My thoughts exactly.  That sentence was like a speed bump in the article.

Exposure to Rider in "Beetlejuice" and "Heathers" and Mia Sara in "Legend" are probably the cause of many guys (including myself) turning goth in the later part of the 20th Century.

That's right.  The album was hung down with the freaks and the ghouls.

I thought it was "Champagne Super-nover"?

"…the film had worn me out, much like a child coming down from a sugar high."

Some time in the 90's, with few exceptions (e.g. Mars Volta), the falsetto male vocal pretty much disappeared from rock music.  It's too bad, because a lot of my favorite bands have a high pitched singer, and I find when I play some old hard rock or metal for "kids" (people under 25), the vocals are what they focus on

And, funny enough, that's the same guitar tuning of a lot of Melvins songs.

The (four string) guitar tone on the first album is still one of my absolute favorites of all time.  "Hot Lava" and "52 Girls"…it's just a dirty and mean sound.  More punk than punk.

I was hoping for a mention of "Chop Suey" by the Ramones, that she, Cindy, and Deborah Harry all sang on.  Great article anyway.

I've been fascinated ever since I saw him as Mentat Piter De Vries in "Dune".  "It is by my will alone that I set my mind in motion…"  He was one of the only redeeming parts of Alien IV.  Funny, I've never seen any of the "Child's Play" movies…

I just came to see if that scene in Exorcist III got props.  So happy that it did.
RetroCrush came up with a decent "100 Scariest Movie Scenes" a few years ago.

Someone Else

I'd put a few above Dolby:
"Cars" by Gary Numan
"Unsung" by Helmet

Skinny Puppy has a new album out and no review. For my electro dance dollar, a worthwhile purchase.

I really think the answer is a lot simpler than people want it to be.  In the sequels the acting (as script) are terrible.  Even if the story ideas were lofty, the delivery was not.  I mean, really cringe-worthy.  Clayton Watson as the annoying "kid", the stiff Jedi Council-like scenes, and the appearance of random
