Nice surprise to see Jamie Brewer back. And also nice to see that she wasn't relegated to a voice-only role either.
Had a quick scan through the comments and didn't see anyone mention this:
I weirdly got excited each time Eliza Coupe said 'Penny'.
Lily was merely pointing out that in Alex's plan for the future, she neglected to mention that there was also a boyfriend in it.
Holy crap. The article also mentions that the Happy Endings sets still exist!!! That is very, very interesting…
I literally make love to the meat.
I was really, really hoping during the scenes in Gil's apartment that we would see the photo that John Gemberling's unnamed character in Happy Endings stole from Dave in the episode 'The Incident'. They really need to establish that the character was Gil (you may remember him as the guy who stole the 'Steak Me Home…
I'd forgotten about that! The actor in that episode was merely billed as 'Thief', so they could work that into Marry Me if they really wanted to since it's not like they'd be retconning the characters name.
Yes! The Goldbergs really nail it with Beverly Goldberg's occasional F-bombs, where as here it's definitely overused and doesn't provide the same comedic response as a result.
DRAMA!
I remembered. Though I had to think for a second to get it.
That show was called Mad Love.
I was wondering if Leslie would be having triplets. Back in January 2010 when she went on that blind date (played by Will Arnett) and she (hilariously) had a MRI done - she was told she had a "big industrial sized oven" and could "have triplets straight off the bat".
