Yeah, I watched highlights from Glastonbury last week - and had to check out the name of the artist and the song for all bar three of the acts.

Peak S sales were not back in the earliest days.

About half of it is due to the introduction of the I-Pace and e-Tron hitting S/X sales in Europe.  I haven’t looked at what is happening in the USA, tbh.

They were also very tranquil planes to travel in, because the engines were all the way at the back

The driest desert in the world is in Antarctica.

The difference between the year 1900 and ice sheets all the way down to North Africa is 4degC. It usually takes about 10,000 years for that 4degC of change.

The Model S was first launched in 2012, and sales and production are now half of what they were at peak.
That combination of old model and diminished sales is generally what drives vehicle OEMs to redesign their models.

Elon Musk generally defines ‘soon’ as ‘several times further into the future than you might expect from my pronouncements’.
e.g. the $35k Tesla originally flagged as arriving in 2013/2014, and actually arriving in May 2019; or high levels of weekly Model 3 production happening by December 2017, and actually happening

The Scimitar was the only nice Reliant automobile

They look better irl. It was my dream car when I was small.

Probably needs a second pedal.

Lower drag (~6% improvement in aerodynamics, iirc.  Maybe only 3%)

It’s not going to be priced reasonably.

England is also regulating it so that every new build home must be designed for chargers to be added easily.  the new code for apartment blocks is still under development, mind you, but it’s on its way.

You need to play a few rounds of Cities in Motion (the Cities Skylines predecessor)

Just gone and looked at pics of the Silverado.

It has a swage line that *rises* as it comes forward of the A-pillar - and then the hood is even higher than that!
I’m surprised they didn’t build it even higher at the front, and just leave a tiny slit of windscreen to peer out of.
