It may/may not make you feel better to know that on most flights, A1-30 are reserved for the A-List/A-List Preferred status members. On the larger flights, they may even block off all of A for these members. The status means you are guaranteed A, without needing to checkin ahead of time.

You’re right. I can’t say I’ve managed to find any scifi series that really hold my interest. There definitely seems to be less female main protagonists, and when they exist, they’re very hard to relate to. I don’t know exactly what it is.

I won’t profess to know the best-of-the-best. Books I read are usually story first, with sex/romance along the way. Of course, many of the series lean heavy into the sex as you go further, until I suddenly realized that I enjoy romance books.

Werewolves, Vampires, Faeries, Magic, and sex. That’s my jam. My lady jam. I’m a huge sucker for Urban Fantasy Romance novels. I feel like I’ve read almost all the major series at this point.
