I think that the true handicap with alignment systems in general is that there is no such thing as good and evil, only perspective. No evil tyrant in history has ever said to himself I AM THE MOST EVIL TYRANT EVER!! No he thinks he is doing what is just and right even if killing and torture etc are the prices to pay.
