This seems fitting given the Maison Ikkoku anime used two Gilbert O’ Sullivan songs as opening themes.

There is literally no reason for the S to exist. You can play the X or the PS5 on a 1080P screen and still benefit.

It’s 200$ cheaper lol. That’s why it has a reason to exist.

Are these canadian ads or what? I sure as hell never saw SNES games for $80-90.

Appreciating other cultures is slowly becoming illegal. Keep this up and foreign representation will be erased from all media, and new generations will think the whole world is American. Is that what we want?

I see nothing wrong about them either, SJW’s are ruining the little representation we get in the media.

As a Hispanic person (though not Mexican), please let me say - those emotes are totally, totally fine.

If you’ve ever watched the movie Ratatouille there’s a great speech at the end where a critic talks about why critics exist and his justification is “the defense of the new” - critics supposedly introduce people to new kinds or art they haven’t heard about before.

If you want to get your bullshit marketing platform (masquerading as a video game)

Tim Sweeney must have fucking brain worms, because this is the most intensely stupid argument I have ever seen. If you want to get your bullshit marketing platform (masquerading as a video game) onto mobile devices, follow the fucking rules or build your own damn phones. No one is going to provide a platform for you

Epic wants to utilize its own competing services, for its own apps and for others.”

You’re just repeating yourself over and over again when given clear examples of these things being possible. At the end of the day the best these clips are doing are taking something that would previous take 40 seconds to do and doing it in 8-10 seconds, thats amazing.

But the 40 seconds in Spider-man loaded you into

Verily, fair maiden, I do enjoyeth me some Killer Instinckt!

Killer Cuts WAS, IS, and WILL CONTINUE TO BE fantastic. It is of a specific time, sure, but it still fucking slaps.

I dunno who asked her to write about things she clearly never experienced first hand but it’s really not the content I’m expecting from Kotaku.

Why did you write an article to basically WHINE about an album featuring a game you clearly were never a fan of? Killer Cuts was made for Killer Instinct fans, at a time when it was one of the biggest releases for Super Nintendo/Arcade. This article made you sound completely out of touch with what 90s kids actually

You say this as if “teleporting the character to another location [in the same level]” is easy or even possible today. It’s not.

Really though? It looks super pretty, but just a bump up above the last one. The mechanics are a bit of a smokescreen. I love the portal play and stuff, but we’ve seen this kind of thing in Portal, Quantum Conundrum, and Dishonored 2. Those portal hopping sections are very much on rails with that in-between portals
