GPU wise the performance is about the same as XBO/PS4 (Non Pro/X), however CPU wise its got pretty much what is in the XBS/PS5, just 1/2 the cores and less clock. Combine that with 16GB of RAM and a eMMC or nVME, and it will definitely out perform PS4/XBO (non Pro/X) machine no issues. Certainly worlds above the

Still an improvement over the Switch, which either can’t run it at all, or runs it at sub 30fps and sub 540p (even docked). Not to mention if you played it at the Switch settings, probably would be 60 fps

You aren’t wrong there, but still, in this particular case its not a lost “Nintendo” game, clearly the article wants to draw more attention to it by wording it that way

Weird title for the article, should be something like “Infamous Lost DS Mean Girls Game”. Saying Lost “Nintendo” Mean Girls Game would hint Nintendo had anything to do with its publishing/development, or maybe it was... a NES game?

Switch WOULD be a handheld indie machine... if it could handle most of them. It struggles sometimes even on simple indie games. And then forget anything that looks better than a 360/PS3 game, indie or not, it looks/runs terrible on the Switch. Even some of Nintendo’s own games struggle bad.

As others have stated, this article headline is inaccurate/misleading. There are still bird statues all over the game that serve the same function as the amiibo.

No, you’d get the same model, probably refurbed too. Why would they give you a completely different, more expensive SKU as replacement?

oh so they didn’t even make these terrible sprites for the game, they re-used someone elses terrible sprites? :(

The 2D FF4 remake on PSP was not the same but “higher resolution” (that doesn’t do much with sprites), all the art was redone, much like the FF1 and 2 remakes. I wish they put that much effort into these as they did on the PSP remakes

its insanely easy to rip a sprite/tile set out of a SNES ROM, plenty of fans already did

Naughty Dog was a smaller company when they were acquired in 2001, and they haven’t made any games except on PlayStation platforms since Crash 1 in 1996. They were practically unknown until Crash 1, and no where near the level of Bethesda today, let alone Zenimax as a whole.

This song is amazing, absolutely love it.

Small studios that they had been funding exclusives for decades. Not a mega multiplatform publisher

Name some?

That “studio” is Insomniac, who have made Sony exclusive titles for years (original Spyro trilogy, Ratchet & Clank, Resistance, etc), and didn’t do very many if any multi plat games past PS1 era

Sony took budding studios and funded exclusives for themselves.

Insomniac and Naughty Dog had been making Sony exclusives for decades, and aren’t giant mega publishers that did multiplats.

Insomniac has been making PlayStation exclusives for decades. Sunset Overdrive was like the one of the few non-PlayStation games they did.

Sony generally has either funded or build exclusives from teams that make them exclusives or their own studios, some being around since the beginning of their console legacy.

Zenimax/Bethesda was a multi platform mega publisher that had been publishing on multiple platform for decades. Their IPs were multiplatform for

No idea why the Final Fantasy Origins rumor hinted this was a “Souls-like” game. Seems to me like this is more like a DMC/GoW/Ninja Gaiden-style game
