xplorer² Pro is my explorer of choice. I have used it for many years and find it my second most used application after Firefox. I would have trouble living without it.

IBM is out of it's corporate mind thinking people will put up with their byzantine registration process.

What Really Happened at Microsoft!

@Colin

I have followed Atkinson's methods for the past couple of years with great results. His advice is well worth following.

If this happens with regularity there is a wonderful, inexpensive utility named Shove-it, which can be set to keep windows from going off screen.

If you really want to improve on Windows Explorer why not replace it? I am a fan of xplorer² pro which is available at www.zabkat.com.

Downloading this spreadsheet is a waste of time. There is nothing in it worth having that you can't do yourself in about 30 seconds. Columns you need:

I have been a user of Google for my domain since the beta began a year ago. I do not experience the issue you mention. In fact, I am unfamiliar with "on behalf of" showing up in Outlook. Perhaps the setting is a function of an Outlook setting or the way the mail is being forwarded to you.

BTW, if the GOS fix using [user.js] doesn't work in Firefox, open about:config and then right click in the browser window. Add a new string with each of the three entries from GOS. Place the second part of the line in the string.

Je ne comprends pas. Please translate for old fart.

I found a fix for this at Google Operating System:

My preference is the old style. I do not like the loss of information at-a-glance.

I've been using Vista Utlimate (RTM) for several weeks and I must say - no big deal. The eye candy is nice but the hardware issues (missing drivers) and the DRM make me think OS X is in my near future and I've been using Windows since version 1.0!

Wowie zowie Mr. Peepers, I'll never digest all that! This is just too much learning.

Lorddaman-

Justforfun, my test machine has 2GB system memory and a GPU with 256MB. So please come off your high horse.

Be wary of the NYT Reader. It has a very large memory footprint, 87 MB on my computer, and may slow your machine and cause other issues.

Nice video. How did you find this?

If you like your computer speaking to you I highly recommend NextUp's - http://nextup.com/ - TextAloud. It is not limited to Firefox. It has multiple high quality available voices (I prefer the AT&T voices) that you can buy. The program is inexpensive and extremely useful.
