“How can we show our infinite pettiness and reckless disregard of peoples’ health and well-being in the most childishly petty of manners? I have a great idea for that, just listen to this!

Disgraceful and petty, what a bunch of aholes.

Limited dialect?  I guess you never really listened.

So be it. Stand with labour not with corporations.

I’m NOT a Musk defender, but I hate this line: “Should’ve Built in the First Place”

They tried something new. It failed, and didn’t cost them anything. This was a useful experiment.

The article states how important it is to clear the air and get clear info out about what fans can do to help the strike. Great!

“Under anti-strike laws in the UK, striking actors could be sued by Warner Bros. or Legendary Television to be forced back on set.”

i mean yeah. its because of the strike and to pump up interest for Marvels coming out in November.

Good on ‘em (though no surprise). And since it’s Deadpool, I fully expect there will be a specific mention if people look different in certain scenes. Something to the effect of, “Oooh - this must’ve been shot after the strike. You’re looking a little flabby Wolvie!”

Yeah for whatever reason Morning Spoilers can’t be assed to put more than an (incorrect) sentence about it, rather than actually explaining what’s happening.

Good to see, the “we own the likeness of background actors in perpetuity without royalties” thing is crazy and really should never have been on the table to begin with.

It is so bad! What a strange detail to leave out on the first day of the SAG strike.

Read the Variety article.   It is because the local union in the UK is legally barred from a solidarity strike with SAG.  For some weird reason, Linda and Gordon dont think that bit is important to mention.

Linda/Gordon you need to rewrite this:

Thank you. Can’t believe this article literally doesn’t expand beyond the headline, and doesn’t even mention the actors’ strike, only the writers’ strike.

To expand on the House of Dragon blurb:

How about we just replace Hollywood Executives with AI? They are already inhuman morons that can only copy the original ideas of other more talented people, so why not just cut out the middle man?

Cruises are just mega-polluting diarrhea factories.

Yum, buffets with a side of crippling vomiting and diarrhea. Thanks for reminding me to never cruise!

I see. He did his own research.
