It’s me, it’s my fault, I didn’t go see it this week. I just wasn’t in the mood for going out this week-end. And since there’s nothing next week (or the week after, because I’m not convinced I’ll go see that M:I movie in theater), I felt no urgency to go see it this week-end.
Some of us remember the last Indiana Jones movie and aren't wasting our money again.
Good. Let it burn, until they can change management at the top all the way down.

Because there’s not much money in news anymore, so the news agencies are trying to extract rent from the companies who beat them at the advertising game. Google/FB aren’t the bad guy (in this specific instance), they’re just the ones with the money.
Real question? Why did news sites fight for this?
Leave the moon alone.
China Bad! So everything the US government says about China is unimpeachable fact! Get with the propaganda, uh, I mean program!
Sure but the presence of a transmitter doesn’t inherently point to spycraft over weather data gathering.
I remember reading a quote about if the moon was covered with gold dust, it still wouldn’t be worth going there and bringing it back.
Can someone please help me understand how “the balloon contains commercially-available transmission technology” supports the government’s claim that it was used to spy on the U.S.? Wouldn’t a weather balloon also be capable of data transmission and be more likely to contain off-the-shelf components?
It’s not pressure than causes problems, it’s pressure differences. Any pieces that blew off suddenly had the same pressure on all sides, and no longer had large forces acting on it.
