I've ridden for 10+ years, almost all of it in the busy SF Bay Area with heavy traffic. I'm not sure what I would have done. That big truck just off the right side of the road, a driveway with gravel, not sure what direction that Camaro is actually turning.. I just dont know. I will say that MOST new riders would have

This is one lucky kid. Crashes a bike into a car at almost 50mph, without even gloves on. He got lucky has humanly possible. It could have ended much worse, ranging from all out dead if he was unlucky, to grinding all the skin off your hands, knees, legs, anything. One lucky kid.

Will it even pass US/Euro safety standards?

I've spent years at a dealer. It's usually not a brand thing, but a specific dealership culture based on the sales manager. Obviously if your sales manager doesn't give a damn about certain customers, soon the salespeople learn not to either. Also, the 'tshirts and shorts' thing is overblown. No salesman ever that I

I dont know where you geniuses are, but poor people are having tons of kids still. Its the old middle class, that realized they are now just above poor, that arent. On a side note, my best friend makes maybe $45k a year, his wife doesnt work, and they have THREE kids at 28 yrs old. IN CALIFORNIA. If he wasnt

That applies for a car in dealer inventory. If you put the plate on your personal vehicle simply because its not registered, it doesnt make it ok. Not saying I havent done it, but thats the rule.

I dont want to be a dealer buzkill, but driving a dealer plate around on what most likely is your personal car is illegal. Even placing the car into inventory and using it like that forever is frowned upon by DMV in California.

Ps this is why California allows you to place a cash bond in the amount of the minimum insurance requirement instead of actual insurance.

It seems like the exception should be that if your net worth is higher than the minimum required insurance, you shouldn't fall under this seizure law. Whats the difference between having to sue an insurance company to get your $32,000, or your $320,000 medical bill, and having to sue a millionaire?

You cant haggle on price if they sell as many as they can produce and own the supply lines. When there is a waiting list, you cant haggle on price. Traditional dealers haggle because they dont own their own supply lines, and thus managing all of that becomes a higher priority than maximizing profit. Once thats gone,

I guess I spoke with old info. It was atleast 2 years ago, pre-model S and pre-IPO. And now that I think of it, it may have been called a Bonus, but it was a bonus based on units not on gross profit, so I suppose the word bonus instead of commission applies. But it was pretty clear more sales = more income. I emailed

Tesla does pay commission to salespeople. I interviewed and was described the pay plan.

Nobody is stopping you from buying these cars and then selling them yourself. The problem is you can only buy so many under one name until you land on an exporter list and then no longer sold to by any dealer. Hence the straw buyers. Thats really the only crime involved here. Everyone wins honestly except for the

For all we know the NFL/Patriots are buying them up on Ebay too. How many could actually be sold on Ebay? 1000 of them would be a stretch. So for 250,000 the NFL could buy up the entire market.

As a car salesman, I can assure you anyone buying a Green car over any other half decent color is shooting themselves in the foot on anything other than a true classic collectible.

Sounds more like an insurance scam via "I'll pay my construction worker friend $100 to drive a bobcat into my car and leave the scene. That way I won't have to do one of those stupid insurance scams where I get caught on dashcam."

Ive worked in car sales for a while. The main point behind this stuff is to maintain gross profit on the car even after giving an uppity customer the opportunity to negotiate. Mr. Joe Wanna be professional car buyer comes in and thinks the car will impress his girlfriend and friends, but wants to still feel like he

Thats most likely morning dew condensation.

We inflated NASCAR West Grand National tires with Nitrogen.. I was told that the nitrogen expands less with heat, and also its easier to assure there is no moisture at all compared to regular compressed air even through a separator, so it was worth it. As in if you filled the tire to 16 lbs of pressure, the car does

While it may be a valid point, and for certain people it may make sense, but I always HATED buying the last year of a car model. You pay 95% of a new car, but have a car that looks 4 years old. And obviously you lose out on any improvements if there were any. And dont think the used market wont represent the same
