I did poorly on the month-by-month challenges (some I didn’t even attempt) but I’m pleased overall with this year. We bounced back from my wife’s layoff to paying off our mortgage, so we finished better than we started. What more can you ask for?

Every time I think about doing this I chicken out and make then the normal way. I really need to just make me one to see how it all works, the timing, etc.
I assume everything I put online can be viewed by some employees of whatever company I’m using. So I encrypt the stuff I need to and don’t worry about the rest.

I love using a rotisserie chicken for stock or broth. I can throw a carcass into the pressure cooker after dinner to make it immediately or toss it into a freezer bag for later.
Bah. I’ll stick with Velveeta and a spoon.
