In high school, I was really into both The Crow AND Dave Matthews Band.

While it is innately British, it has a global audience and that's not exactly a secret.

I'm just glad to see that Britt Robertson got out from under that dome…

Disney buying up so many other companies is finally paying real geek dividends!

How is no one mentioning the fact that the Doctor gives Robin Hood the middle finger just before pulling out his spoon?

I've been a huge Batman fan since toddlerhood. I've seen every screen adaptation of the character from the first 1940s serials up until Beware the Batman. And I can honestly say that The Lego Movie might be my favorite Batman movie.

On_2, I'm in the same boat vis a vis imprinting on the song at nerd camp. What site(s) did you attend?

Upvoted for the great Darren Nichols reference at the end.

I'm baffled at the critical response to this movie—I've tracked down a few reviews from outlets I trust (this one included) and it feels like they are reviewing the trailer rather than the movie itself. This is the only review that touched on anything outside of the middle third, but it still sells the flick short.

I was really curious as to how they'd do Red Dragon over 13, but if they do condense it, I can deal with that. The thing I really want is to see Red Dragon with these actors in the lead roles. I didn't think anyone could overtake Petersen and Cox as my favorite Graham/Lecter pairing, but, well, of course these guys

Yes, but the OP never said that they made Alana up without precedent. They only said that Alana's characterization and role in the story was so drastically different from Alan's role in the original text that Alana was, "for all intents and purposes, a totally new creation."

Until now, Fuller has always said that Red Dragon was going to be season four. Does the fact that he's bumping Dollarhyde up to season three while simultaneously doing "Silence on the Lamb" indicate that he's not confident that the show is going to get a season four? Or possibly that he's going to leave after season

Thanks for the input!

Busy day at the office, but had to pop in to say that I loved Ebert and I love this film. Saw a preview for it when I was in 8th grade and it left a huge impression on me, but I missed it in theaters. Got it from the video store a couple years later. I'm 30 now and (in its director's cut form) it's still one of my 10

I haven't seen this show (or even heard of it until this review), but, dangit, now I have to watch it. Sounds like the first two seasons are a slog, though. Can anyone recommend which episodes of the first two seasons are essential viewing for keeping up with the third?

Megan Ellison is still the money behind the movie, right? Because that fact earned the production a lot of patience from me.

Can we start a hashtag campaign? #BradBirdForSHAZAM!

Crap. You're right. I totally forgot that Zack Snyder is the guy behind all of this. Can he please take the Captain Marvel movie off and give…I don't know…someone with a sense of joy or wonder or fun a shot at it? P.J. Hogan's Peter Pan seemed like a decent Captain Marvel audition. Or Brad Bird?

Dear goodness I hope that a Shazam movie is gonna happen.

We're not done with Tracy, Jacob! He stays on this side!
