I've only seen this episode once. I've only seen all of season three once. I've watched seasons one and two several times each at this point, but I remember season three leaving me an absolute wreck. Maybe it was because my grandfather was dying as I watched it, but I've felt as though I need to leave a week empty on

Where the heck was Bob Benson? I don't get it: Why would they do an episode like this without answering the question that everyone in the audience is obviously asking: "How many cups of coffee could Bob Benson carry at once if he was shot up with those drugs?"

Even after all the time he has spent with Jenny and Vashtra, Strax still has absolutely no concept of gender. I'm delighted any time he says "boy" or "girl," because it is obvious that he's just guessing. Every time.

I thought it was the best episode of Community I've seen in months.

@avclub-7833d176ad6f6dde5efc95848e6f47a8:disqus , he apparently couldn't get John Mulaney's sitcom picked up…

I think it is more of a reference to the fact that the new head of programming (not the one who greenlit these shows in the first place) has said publicly that he'd rather not be associated with them, and wants to kill off the "critically beloved, low rated" stuff. The only reason PARKS got a renewal is because the

I can't wait—I love action sequences that were written as metaphors for the deep-set conceptual problems that will render a project unsatisfactory!

The bachelor party clown brought back a great memory:

@avclub-33807fbc68d335db8080d3c10cb78822:disqus , okay, I think that that's a pretty fair assessment. My reaction, though, has been, "Man, imagine what they could have done with this had they actually had a budget!"

I've felt this way about a lot of this season, actually, and especially about this second half of the season.

Oh, I think they were much better about maintaining a recognizable personality for Amy than they have been for Clara. They were good about it for her first three appearances ("Asylum," "Snowmen," "Bells"), but since then, I've noticed that she's been sort of…blank.

Wow. That's impressive.

I'm glad it grew a new one: The Doctor had to jettison the swimming pool last season, I think in the Neil Gaiman episode.

@Tecumesh:disqus , I'm sorry to disagree so blanketly, but I can't imagine what you're watching when you say that the budget looks like it has gone up. The budget cuts have been painfully obvious in both halves of this season in a way that they haven't ever been before. They were able to fudge it a bit in season five

Yeah, I have a hard time discussing who I think is the "best companion" because, yes, Freema Agyeman is distractingly beautiful.

@disqus_sAl1oFdHzz:disqus Wasn't "Omar in Walking Dead" basically the concept behind casting him in The Road?

Agreed: Your work is going to be acutely missed.

Which bunhead are you?

Did you ever see the SNL monologue in which Jon Hamm offers up clips of his pre-Mad Men acting career to try to establish his wide range for the audience? He shows clips of his guest appearances on a Saved By The Bell-type show, QVC, and Def Comedy Jam, but the joke is that he is basically Don Draper in all of them:

Honestly, I'm only up to season three, but so far, Lorelai and Rune has—by far—offered the best return on investment. I could enjoy Lorelai and Luke's friendly banter just fine whether there's romantic tension or not. Rune, on the other hand, should have been made to be Lorelai's Wesley Snipes.
