Yeah, see, there's your problem right there: Something's wrong with the way you processed the trailers for WATCHMEN.

I can't speak for everyone here, but my disappointment with so much of the show from season five onward is that the show didn't used to be so cartoony. Even when the plot was a little heightened, it was still grounded in very real, very relatable social and emotional circumstances. The end of season four seems like it

I don't know if it was the BEST movie I've seen in a long time, but certainly one of the most uplifting. I thought it raised fun navel-gazing questions about Big Spiritual And Philosophical Issues without prescribing an answer, but still managed to make you feel good. And it was, as a production, thrilling.

I know I'm in the minority when it comes to "The Doctor's Wife," but I didn't like it very much. I read a comment somewhere when it aired that said it felt like middle school fan-fiction, and I completely agree. I keep trying to get behind it, but the only parts of the episode that really stand out for me are the

Season Two is probably my favorite, but Season Four…How can you not love season four? I can see being a little put off by the freelance architect storyline, but it all came together for a great end to the season. In fact, I still hold that the season four ending was as close to a perfect way to end the series as

@avclub-afa73512a045b8492d94152050b80273:disqus , I'm not trying to hate this show at all. I've been a staunch defender, and even through the rough patches of the past few years I've always found things to love about it. But even to me, C-range seems INCREDIBLY generous for this episode. The only joke you pointed out

I've mostly just lurked on these Whedon reviews, but I have to say they've been a joy.

In season one, they only dated for two months before she moved to Germany. This season, they've only been dating four or five months so far.

I have to agree with @avclub-e19801f9caf39bff8afc5e4548f2942d:disqus: Family entertainment is a different beast from kids' entertainment. It's like the difference between THE PRINCESS BRIDE and MIGHTY MORPHIN POWER RANGERS. Family stuff—like DOCTOR WHO—is designed to be accessible to and enjoyed by multiple
