Also considering that the $80 for the whole JoyCon set actually gives you 2 controllers where as a single XBox or PS4 controller costs about $50 a piece no matter what unless there happens to be a sale.

A single Dualshock 4 costs about $50 typically, is wireless with built in battery, has a touchpad and motion sensing.
