You're saying there's "some malevolent force putting false memories in his mind", but I'm not 100% sure that's true. There might not be any sort of external force, it might be that David has multiple personalities, and one of them is causing the fake memories. If that's the case, then this show IS about a mental

I know I'm late, but thoughts on this:

He remembers everything. Everything. He remember's his birth. Before that, he remembers being in the womb.

I liked Affleck's performance, but remember you don't get the Oscar for *best* acting, you get it for *most* acting. Casey Affleck did not do the most acting.

I don't think they're actually jpeg artifacts. Looks more like the background was white, and someone flood filled it black, but the flood fill missed the occasional light grey pixel…

I think it could be great. You know it could be developed in-into a very satisfying project for people of all ages. I mean, I'd watch it, for at least 11 minutes a pop. You know, maybe they'll do it board-driven.
