ok, just to be clear, Bridgeport is NOT a rural area. It's not a HUGE city, but it's a city, completely urban (and very poor and corrupt). It is surrounded by rural areas (the B. family lives in Trumbull, which is far more rural), but it is not a rural area itself, and I don't think the show portrays it as such

Let's clarify something: The family lives in Trumbull, CT (misspelled in the closed captioning, I noticed), which is a sleepy town. Bridgeport is a very poor, very crummy city, where taylor is a cop and where the bail bond shop is located. It's not super clear on the show, and I only understand this myself because

You wouldn't? Hm. Interesting. I do. For me, of course, it's the most vital source of that kind of information, but most people rely heavily on it for character/location names, spellings, etc., especially on Sci-fi/fantasy shows. What source do you use?

Does the reviewer not watch the show with Closed Captioning on? They gave us the spelling of "Shawn" weeks ago

I, too, finally watched Terriers this year. It was amazing, and I am sad it didn't get more of a chance

If I boycotted every movie that starred someone who didn't look like me, I'd have stopped going to the movies when Rick Moranis retired

I am disappointed there's no weekly review of survivor!

Please try and take a little care with your discussion. Having an actor with the last name Morgan and a character with the first name Morgan led to some confusing text

A very thoughtful and well written piece

Ditto

This show DOES remind me of Alias and LOST. No wonder it's my favorite show on TV right now

Astral form. Not astro

Great list. I'd like to add Fangface to the discussion!

Part CGI, part practical effect

Haha. Good one

haha

I adore that song

it's certainly more interesting than any of the decades following it

I agree with you. I'd like to see more 60s-set shows!

Based on this review, this sounds exactly like the kind of show I would love. It was not on my radar before, but it is now. Thanks!
