And where would we put 1 Trillion trees?
Excellent. Were the Modern Lovers consulted for this show?
I agree, why this isnt at the top of the pile makes no sense... this car is timeless.
To quote Richard Hammond “Its a pornographer’s car”
I found the “polish the shoes” comment funny given that is kind of the modern equivalent of Jesus’ washing of the feet...
That should have been headline news here (Im not kidding, especially compared to the general content these days)
When Bobby8er says ND to an older BMW, it’s definitely NO DICE.
I think the XC60 (and V60 soon after) were mentioned because the long light pipe and LEDs were more of a distinctive sculptural-light element which was pretty newish at the time. It was very distinctive at night.
The BMW Z8 should be recognized for using NEON lamps, not LED.
Yes, and its companion piece from dealers “how much do you want to pay each month?”
I hate that I agree with the airline here, but this seems to be largely on the CBP at the airport.
Im probably the only one here that thinks the price for this is actually very reasonable, considering it is a Porsche made part. I had a 987 Cayman and to buy the upgraded PCM alone (not including the nav computer) was over 3K for the part. This, at half the price well over a decade later..seems fantastic.
It would be a good followup to see if this program covers the cost of the charger, or the cost of the charger including its installation. Those can be VERY different things. (the press release makes no clarification) Most L2 chargers are not particularly expensive; getting power to them can be a very different matter.
I expected more jorts despite the cold temps..
A hot take written by someone who doesn’t know a thing about cars (or car finishes)
I know Ill end up sitting in the grays and this will be lost but.. I would recommend an i3S. Ive had both the regular i3 and the S version: the bit of suspension tuning, wider wheels and tires, and a touch more power make it a lot more enjoyable to drive and despite the short wheelbase it has better highway manners…
I thought the same, but given they used heat shielding elsewhere.. perhaps they found it not necessary. Given how quickly the can is depressurizing from fueling the jets, it might be ice cold despite the proximity to the engine components.
This is a real car lifehack. Especially for drying wheels off a bit and the engine bay for times when the dirt in there becomes excessive.
