Related but off-topic.. What about how “Hollywood” has snuck into cars? The latest BMW M cars have that ridiculous sounding “Active sound”. My I-6 M3 should NOT sound like a burbly V8 inside, through the stereo speakers no less.

I had a discussion about this car yesterday.. I was between getting one of these or an M3 a few years back, and chose the M3. I often regret not getting this wagon. The M3 performs better, is more modern, yada yada, but if you ever have driven a polestar wagon.. it feels special. The way M cars, AMG cars, S/RS cars…
