I’m going by my experience retailing pre-owned cars. Your mileage may vary, but premium crossover/SUV sales are VERY female-driven. Most men I sell cars to would be happier with a crew cab truck. Jeep Wranglers unite the genders, except for - again, experience - a certain number of women who think a Wrangler Unlimited…

That your wife bought a car versus an SUV/crossover and whose aspirational vehicle is a GT-R means she is not in the same market as women who end up buying Cayenne GTSs, X6MX6MX6XM6Ms, and G55s so what I’m saying may no necessarily apply.
