Honestly, I have no idea how they would move forward in the DCEU or another connected Batman movie, considering the twist at the end of the Flash.

I think they said the Gunn hiring killed any plans for a sequel, that plus the lackluster opening weekend didn’t help. My hope was the killer would be revealed to be the friends we made along the way.

I just watched it yesterday, and yeah, it seemed like no one really cared WHO actually killed Barry’s mom, just that it wasn’t Henry. As far as Zod being “A” villian, they make it make sense within the narrative of the story ( I don’t want to give away too much if you plan on seeing it).

The problem is, they already did that story arc on the TV show with Grant. Sure they couldn’t use Batman or Superman at the time, but it really would have been a retread of something he already did, especially since it was established that Reverse-Flash killed his mother, not some random guy breaking into his house.

I haven’t fallen asleep in a movie since I worked third shift , went to morning happy hour then tried to see Zodiac’s first showing. I’ll be able to stay awake to watch it, just hope it’s at least a little entertaining.
