Exactly, the guy even said to Viserys something along the lines of we can save the baby or lose them both., while it’s still a shitty choice, he made the best one. It seems to me they are painting Viserys as an honorable/good man a la Ned Stark and him picking the baby over his wife would kind of put a dent in that.
