Oh my word...
Monster, like many of Urakawa’s works, has a weak ending IMO. In fact compared to 20th Century Boys, it is the weaker of the two. Billy Bat though... is just plain weird.
Ok, PS5 games can potentially look like this but on a much smaller scale, think of it like how FFVII Remake is comparable to the Agni’s Philosophy demo (very close in quality, not in size, but in graphical details). And yet Ubisoft can’t run cross gen AC Valhalla in 60 fps on PS5 Series X?
The original SNES game looks like an expensively made 2D game compared to its contemporaries, this remake looks like only decent compared to other 3D anime JRPGs like Ni No Kuni 2.
I still can’t see core gamers switching to streaming. casual who can’t be bother maybe, but core will stay playing games the traditional way.
sigh... Yeah I know.
Hmmm... they need to upgrade more than just higher polygon and higher res textures, the animation is quite dated.
Fuck, was hoping for a $399 console... Oh well, I’m not gonna buy it on day one anyway. Not because I don’t want to, but because now that I’m married, gaming is a luxury I afford last.
Pretty much every critically acclaimed AAA game these days need photo mode. Digital Foundry said something interesting in their DualSense video. The new “Create” button could help with game without photo mode.
I miss the 1995 stoic movie Motoko, Motoko went gradually more and more girly with every anime incarnations since 2003.
I really don’t have a problem with DS4's battery life, while the DS4 has shorter battery life compared to DS3, it still lasts my personally acceptable 5-6 hour gaming session. Plus, unlike laptop batteries, they don’t suffer from battery drain, even after countless recharging with reckless abandon.
Despite the built in microphone and speaker, I still want a 3.5mm headphone jack. Hopefully it’s hidden under the base there, I’d hate using a wireless headsetor a USB C splitter.
TLOU’s Ellie, as retweeted by Neil Druckman himself:
Damn.... no word on PS3 BC at all. PS3 is unique that it is the only one of Sony console without any native BC, its games are only BC through streaming (PSNow). Sony needs to make a way to make them available either digitally (a la PS1 classics and PS2 remasters) or natively with disc. I’m dying to replay Killzone 2, 3…
Only at launch? I’m even more confused, so what happens down the road in the future when you need more space?
I don’t understand any of it, so XSX has faster CPU, GPU and RAM, but slower SSD and can only be upgraded with proprietary SSD card. PS5 has slower CPU, GPU and RAM but faster SSD and can be upgraded with NVMe SSD but not all of them?
Fuck... I don’t how to feel about this. Is there a way to preserve ND’s signature attention to detail if they change their studio structure? Would hiring heads of departments to organize better working hours ruin the ND insanely quality game development process?
Powerpyx, the trophy guide guy, wrote that Nioh 2 is easier than Nioh 1:
But it doesn’t seem like public knowledge, every publications pointed it out. This has been going on since 2013, but suddenly everybody is bringing it up:
