Props to the people behind this project, it must be a massive undertaking, and people like me (with no knowledge of Japanese or coding) really appreciate the work that's put in to make games playable for us!! :)

My childhood is irreparably ruined.

The insistence of developers to make games 'targeting' certain territories really annoys me. Along with a lot of my friends, I enjoy a lot of the games that are made in Japan, and I'm sure a lot of Japanese gamers enjoy COD and Western games like it. Just because it's made in Japan, doesn't mean only the Japanese will

I do.

^^This. I have the game on iOS, and I've played it intermittently for over 2 years now. It's great fun, and ridiculously good value for money

Could somebody tell me who/what Hangame is?

They did a second run of the game yeah - don't know about the US, but on the UK site it's available for under £15! I've already played the game (emulated because I refused to pay £50 for it last year) but I've ordered a copy of the second run and I'm really looking forward to playing through it again :D

To be fair, that would be enough of an incentive for me to buy a Vita...

This.

In answer to another question, you asserted that digital copies of games aren't made cheaper because the price is what you'd have to pay at retail anyway.

Who makes the final call on whether a pitch gets the green light or not? Is it a diplomatic decision, or is there a head honcho who makes the decision?

Looks like a more visceral, action-orientated Amnesia: The Dark Descent, and that is a Very Good Thing...

If you have a Wii, you could give Endless Ocean/Endless Ocean 2 a try - you don't play as a dolphin, but it is a really fun diving sim with a focus on exploration

...Presumably so they can follow it up with 2.5, which will (assumedly) contain KH2, BBS and event scenes from Re:Coded

I'll probably end up buying a Vita for this game (but not until after christmas when they'll (hopefully) be at a slightly lower price)

...Is it bad that I actually found this really funny? :/

If you rewind about 7-8 years then you'd be spot-on; Pro Evo used to dominate the market, while FIFA was just an also-ran. But as time went on FIFA improved, and Pro Evo did little to advance itself, so the tides turned. Don't worry about it man, just thought I'd get you up to speed ;)

I agree with everything you just said

I'd disagree with your view on the FIFA Vs Pro Evo thing - I live in the UK and FIFA is a far more popular game with the masses (in part thanks to the Ultimate Team card-collecting thing). However, there is a large enough group of hardcore Pro Evo players who buy the game year in, year out, to keep the series going.
