I’m just waiting for someone to yell, “You lie!”

Yes! Came to the comments to make sure Balfe was included. Love her style, and thought she looked incredible, but she was missing from a number of red carpet slide shows on other sites.

Seeing that photo kind of makes me wish someone would release Zika-infected mosquitoes on the floor of the Senate, let climate change deniers like Inhofe experience global warming in action.

And that carpeting is so comfortable. /notsarcastic

Makes me want to tear my hair out. Like do they really think women use late-term abortions as birth control? Do they think they’re so special that other pregnant women might not have fetuses that develop genetic abnormalities? It’s just outrageous that some people lack empathy for others or are so committed to

Reading about this pissed me off. I think gas is already underpriced to begin with. But maybe residents thought the gas tax was cheap to justify the high tax on everything else in New Jersey?

Interesting, your experience. I used to work with a man who turned out to have sleep apnea. Me and my coworkers, we’d joke with this guy that he had some sort of sleep disorder because he’d nod off at his desk for minutes at a time throughout the day and even make this troubled breathing sound while asleep. He

Oh my gosh. And I suspect he doesn’t pay child support? Seems like there are many men, even one politician that I can recall, who are anti-abortion but who would demand their lover get an abortion should she get pregnant.

After watching that Samantha Bee Full Frontal clip about Russian trolls paid to sow discontent on the Internet, I have to wonder if any of the hate is coming from them. (Though the ones she interviewed are purporting to be pro-Trump, I imagine foreign governments might launch similar attacks to discredit U.S. media.)

And people insist on waxing nostalgic about “the good old days.” Like, yeah, America was great back when women couldn’t vote.

Interesting. I did start reading book 6 but again, it felt like the stories were drifting away from the core of Jaime-Claire. I did look over a summary of books 6-8, and it seemed like a ton of stuff happened, almost too much to keep track of. But I’ll eventually work my way through the rest of the books.

My almost complete lack of interest in Brianna is one of the reasons I didn’t continue reading the series after book 5. I just love the Jaime-Claire relationship too much.

My friend suggested the possibility that the pope himself might be possessed, hence the ominious HE’S COMING posters. I’m inclined to think maybe it’s a demon wanting to do battle against the pope.

Yes, I wondered that too. Kat seemed shocked when she saw Casey smiling at her. She must have known that’s not how a “victim” reacts. I kept wondering too what happened on the subway … you’d think the video of Casey’s freakout would have become viral, convincing Kat that something more was going on.

Huh, that would make sense. I just watched the last episode and was telling my friend why they didn’t try harder to convince Kat that Casey was possessed. That’s one thing that irritates me about horror movies, how the characters never seem to be knowledgeable or aware of horror movies in their world. Like had Kat

I remarked to a friend that, God forbid Trump wins the election, I’m not sure I can stand four more years of seeing Trump on TV.

Yikes, high tension. It seems like the type of movie I couldn’t actually sit through unless I knew how it was going to end.

I had the same thought. The digital short (if that’s what they’re still calling them) with Robbie as a librarian reminded me of at least one Kristen Wiig skit, in which she’d appear to be some conventionally attractive woman but then do something disgusting or reveal she’s actually bald.
