It’s unrelated to the Trump/Russia investigation legally and logically, probably, but not politically - and could be, and is, being used as political cover to attack the Trump/Russia investigation.

Well turns out, Nunes wrote the whole memo charging the FBI did not disclose the dossier was politically motivated and funded by the democrats, and turns out the FBI did disclose it.
Yep, and illustrates precisely why the FBI/Dems were against releasing the memo without the underlying documents or at least the competing memo, because they charged that the memo deliberately left out facts and was misleading.
Just want to note Nunes/Republicans have since admitted that the FBI actually did disclose that the Steele memo was politically motivated and funded by the opposition political party.
They were crying foul because the Democrats could not prepare their rebuttal until the Republicans gave them the memo, which they refused to until it was too late for the Democrats to get a memo out at the same time.
Just want to point out, if the FBI had been tracking someone suspected of being a russian spy for years (and indeed has admitted to being a “Kremlin advisor”) suddenly cozy up to a presidential nominee about to get access to all of America’s secrets, you’d hope they expedite everything they can to surveil him ASAP.
Just a matter of degree. Might as well say, I read a news article with comments from a democratic committee member “informing my decision” who have read the FISA application. Same degree of separation.
1) It’s not unrelated to Trump’s Russia investigation, because the whole point is that Carter Page was originally flagged as being a potential Russian Spy, then ended up working for Trump. So the prior investigation into him became connected to Trump, through Turmp’s employment of Page. (i.e. an investigation into a…
You’re missing a few facts.
Like I pointed out, you may think that the memo “clearly contains nothing sensitive to national security,” but I just pointed out you underestimate the extent to which enemy powers may seek to gain an advantage.
Made an analogy in another reply, but just pointing out that even if Steele was biased, it doesn’t stop his statements from being credible or justifiable basis for a warrant.
Let’s say this, you have a terrible neighbor, parties all night with loud music keeping you awake and driving down your property values. You dislike your neighbor, and feel like there must be something illegal going down, so you hire a private investigator, who goes in and comes back with a report saying, they’re…

I have a Surface Book and got my girlfriend a Surface Pro (and we both used to have macbook pros), and even then I totally agree with your statement.
Nope, actual knowledge is not a requirement for adverse possession.
As someone else mentioned it’s a trolley problem. A flue train is barreling down one set of tracks to your wife, and that person’s wife and kids on the other set of tracks.
Losing your job can have severe adverse effects or lead to the death of your children/family members too - i.e. what if the sick worker has an elderly grandma who would die if you lost your job and could no longer help pay medical bills?
He doesn’t really have $108 billion in the bank - that’s $108 billion in Amazon stock. So first, he can never actually unlock that money into cash, at least not within a reasonable time frame.
Actually, the law does have a far better analogy to the DREAMers - adverse possession.
Slow down isn’t stop, and he did slow down. Remember, she set the bar at oral sex within 2 minutes on the kitchen counter, and she stayed there and naked, so “slow down” would not be logically interpreted as stop.
