So...the founders drafted the constitution with the intent that one day some citizens would start up an extremist terrorist group and destroy everything they built, like ISIS?

Yes, and I think especially the phrase “THERE IS NO FORCE AWAKENS. It awakens inside her.” gives it away - not to mention why she bothered putting her age on there!
Yes, but that’s the point of investments - it works IF it works. From what I remember, Tesla’s individual model S sedans ARE profitable - just they’re continually spending on expansion more than the profit. If Tesla stopped all expansion, product development etc. and just sold the Model S, then they indeed would be…
Do you have all of your retirement savings in oil company stock? I’m guessing you have some form of diversified savings (if not, let’s continue this conversation in say 25 years and see if you still agree). If not, can’t you see the benefit of diversifying a countries energy sources and reliance on a single form of…
Because of CAFE.
Actually it might well have been a 75 mile trip, his ride alone works out to be around 25 miles, and his car dropped off 6 other friends at their respective homes as well. In a place like Alberta, I can easily see those detours to drop off friends being very far away.
An even better analogy is if you were now making $100,000 a year, and your expenses totaled $150,000 a year, but then you spend $300,000 to buy a larger convenience store, or franchise or something, that then boosts your earnings up to $200,000 a year.
Actually, just looked it up - and apparently, Serious Gord, you live in Alberta, Canada.
Are you even reading my responses? I never said anything about big price rises, I’m saying the United States shouldn’t be reliant on Russia, the Middle East, and communist dictatorships in South America for a key resource.
Well even if they are “limitless” on a global scale, not all of it is in the United States. CAFE regulations are still useful to allow the U.S. to not rely on Middle Eastern, South American, and Russian oil.
It’s an investment to ensure that the U.S. is prepared for the future when oil does become more expensive (You’d agree that it is not an unlimited resource, and will run out eventually, right?)
Yes, I read the article. If you notice, my comment specified “States”. In the linked article, for “States,” it states “: “A higher number of firearm laws in a state are associated with a lower rate of firearm fatalities in the state, overall and for suicides and homicides individually.”
No, I never have. I normally take a look to check I’m putting in the right octane level anyway so that’s already a step to ensure it doesn’t happen. As well as diesel pumps being green and not fitting into a gas tank.
Ha! Noone aka no one aka nobody aka there is no who.
Yes, but unfortunately the lawsuit is not about offensiveness, or any kind of equal protection lawsuit. It’s a lawsuit about trademark infringement, and in which case the word Navajo is treated like the word French, and the history isn’t taken into account.
Your examples are inapposite. Yes, certain specific foods have a legal definition that include location, i.e. bourbon. However, here UO is using the term Navajo, not in respect to a specific product identified with the Navajo nation, but as a general term referring to the style and designs used.
Your car maybe? I think it’s mostly to do with cloth seats...but I think if anything they are less prevalent nowadays when even civics come decked in leather.
I agree, mostly, though I think it’s not a bad thing if they told you “we only have Prosecco, also a sparkling wine, is that the same thing?”
Noone said it’s rocket surgery...try doing 10,000 simple arithmetic equations, like 3+4, 5+6, 2+3, 4+9, 3+7, you’re bound to trip up eventually...There’s tons of stuff like that in life.
So, “French-press” coffee makers need to get permission from the President and legislature of France now? Panda Express should get permission from the government of China? Everyone selling everything with a British flag on it should get permission from the Queen? You know what, you should turn over all your money…
