Yeah, 5 was that perfect combination of a great location, Brazil, that was gorgeous to look at (6+7 took place in a lot of grey coloured countries), amazing action sequences, move away from racing narrative to heist narrative, and no expectation that it was going to be the classic that it is.

I recommend 4. It is the run through before 5 truly elevated the series. The action scenes are ridiculous, like the characters showcasing superhuman abilities, e.g. Paul walker pushing a suspect out of a 3rd floor window and onto the roof of a van without a scratch, then proceed to interrogate the suspect like nothing

Interesting. Vin could play batman, tyresse as green lantern, Michelle Rodriguez as Zatanna, Ludicrous as Robotman.

I really enjoyed it. The formula to these films has been written, and Vin Deisal and co are continuing to push the franshise into even more ridiculous moments of cinema. The film out did itself with the cameo's, which is great fan service.

i'm a big fan of Chelsea, dating back to blackpeopleloveus.com and the variety shac comedy group she was part off, plus i LOVE her podcast, but i don't think she is a great stand up. she's a naturally funny person, but her last standup ran out of steam and relied too many times on gimmicks and visual gags like the

Loving it. 4 EPs in and totally agree with the John from Cincinnati comparison, as YP is bizarre, meditative, and engrossing as JfC.
The guardian writer summed up the show nicely;
"No, this English-language Italian series marvellously applies the logic of mobsters and politics – of factions and fantasies of male power

I agree. I really enjoyed the scenes of Pete with the other up-and-comers comedians alot, mainly because I'm a big fan of aparna nacherla and Jermaine fowler, who i watch in superior donuts (which i watch to scratch that live studio sitcom itch).

I was just listening to the Louie Anderson You make it Weird today, before watching the finale of crashing, and in the ep, Pete mentioned to Louie about about science and religion being the same, with science trying to photograph things whilst religious people feel it, and it was a line in the final ep when they gave

What does Aptow have over HBO for them to commission this and a 2nd season? Crashing is deffo not HBO quality. Watching the final ep was a slog. the whole-everyone-getting-into-the-pool-thing just felt old. I enjoy Pete's podcast and hearing him talk but he is not a strong actor or presence to lead a show. This ep was

yeah, agree. was a bit lame from louie,

Can't any of the 29 SNL cast members play Trump or O'Reilly? Only liked Baldwin in 30 Rock, but think Aidy Bryant would kill it as Trump.

I finally watched SJ s1-4 last month and caught up with s5 this week. what a great show. LOVED the shot of Ashi stopping when creeping up on Jack.

I use to think the 20th Century Fox logo was a real building when i was little. situated on the darkest street possible, where crack and murder intertwined.

boo…i love the static. i would rather have that as my national anthem, than my actual national anthem [god save the queen].

i'm going to be controversial and say i hear the John from Cincinnatti theme [johnny appleseed], when i think of the HBO theme.

That was lame but does anyone else do the Ahhh at the beginning of a HBO series? I've always done but never met anyone else who does.

Hakeem and his posse scenes are always so funny because of how ridiculous they are, and tonight didn't fail.
Nia Long can't act for shit, same with the terrible Wilson Fisk knock off who shared a scene with her. Loved his dialogue about listening to luscious CDs a thousand times.
That coming out live stream was so

At last. Great start to hopefully another great season. good to see Rob Thomas writing this one.

This was awful. Without the co creator Stephen merchant, what's the point. Comedy was weak and telegraphed at times.
