Maybe he's not technically allowed to leave the country because of the possibly still pending investigation? I'm not sure, it bugged me as well.
I love that character so much, he's as creepy as Buffalo Bill somehow. I wonder if Bryan Fuller knew the show's time at NBC was nearing it's end, and that's why he sped up the pace of the story from his original vision (Red Dragon as S4, Silence of the Lambs as S5, etc.).
Is it just me, or did this episode look especially cinematic and beautiful? I know some people are having a problem with the show being slow, but I'm fine with it. Can't wait until Red Dragon gets going. Obviously I hope the show finds a new home, but at least if it doesn't we get to see Francis Dolarhyde.
This trailer made my irrational hatred for Kristin Wiig and irrational love for Zach Galifianakis clash. I'll just split the difference and forget about it in five minutes and never think about it ever again.
God. Dammit.
It's like they took all the things I didn't like about the first season which i generally liked a lot, and made them over the top. Hopefully I get into it more and it gets better.
Yeah passing up them and Samantha Bee and Jason Jones up for the attractive new guy must sting. I'm hoping it'll be good though.
Yeah I have no doubt he would have made it his own thing which would have been cool. I just can't see him doing the same thing every day. Amy Poehler is easier to picture for the obvious reason of Weekend Update.
I think Al Madrigal would have been great. His bit on Ohio this week and the water one from a week or two ago were hilarious.
I like Chris Rock a lot but I don't know how if he would have been the right fit. Amy Poehler would have been fantastic though.
I agree, a clusterfuck is sometimes more entertaining than quality.
This man was a badass 24/7 for 93 years.
I actually agree with you on some shows. But I love this show and want as much of it as possible because I'm a greedy bastard.
I'm not a fan of the fact that they basically replayed part of the Season 2 finale for five minutes. Other than that, really solid episode. The heart-stag really creeped me the fuck out. Really looking forward to the rest of the season. Also, sad to see Abigail go (again) but it would have felt cheap to have no deaths…
"Listen here you beautiful bitch, I'm about to fuck you up with some truth."
"You're a big boy. You can pick up your own feeeee-xins."
I trust Colbert to shake things up in a good way. The man's a genius, I have a lot of faith in him to reinvigorate the late night talk show scene.
I really dug it. Just hearing them talk about it has made me excited for Late Show for the first time. I hope its a regular thing, even though I understand that they're super busy.
Must be exhausting
