@harvey_birdman: I never said they are to big to fail, I am saying things are more like a house of card than you give them credit to be. At least in the auto industry.

@Bueller: Um...right. You obviously haven't looked at a GM in the past few decades, let alone few years.

@Bueller: And hundreds of thousands would be out of jobs and our economies (I'm Canadian) would be screwed, hardcore. It doesn't take an economics course to figure that out either, just some light reading and a something between your ears.

I am not going to jump on the hate bandwagon. GM is welcome to my tax money, and I am glad they we're bailed out. They are a stronger company because of it, and while they still make mistakes (OMG—SHOCK) they are making a good come back, and they aren't the same ones that they have made in the past.

And that, ladies and gentlemen, is why I no longer work retail.

I'd save a hell of a lot more than $263/yr if I had that car.
